KABUL: (MEP) Son of the former Defense Minister General Abdul Rahim has been gunned down in capital Kabul.
A source close to Gen. Wardak informed that the incident took place in Kart-e-Se area of the city Monday afternoon.
The source said Dr. Khalid has been killed inside his house.
The source has not revealed further details.
Reason behind the incident is unknown but another source has said that family argument might be the cause of it.
Kabul police have not yet commented on the report.
Dr. Khalid’s funeral prayers would be offered at Kabul’s grand mosque ‘Eid Gah mosque’ during the day and laid to rest afterwards.
