Afghan Police Arrests Terrorists Before Carrying Bombs In Farah & Kandahar

KABUL: (MEP) Afghan National Police officials have managed to arrest three suicide attackers and thwarted their evil goals before reaching its implementations in southern and western of the country.

Two terrorists were arrested before planting landmines in southern Kandahar province, according to a statement released by NSD.

“The terrorists were rounded up red handed with three landmines and bomb-making devices.” The statement said.

The statement noted, the terrorists were identified as Abdul Wali S/O Peer Mohammad, a resident of Helmand’s Marja District, and Salih Mohammad S/O Sayed Mohammad, a resident of Kandahar city.

Meanwhile, a suicide attacker has been detained by security officials in Farah province Sunday afternoon.

Mohammad Iqbal Baher spokesman of Farah security command said the suicide attacker, who wanted to detonate his motorbike packed explosive materials in Farah provincial authority identified by policemen and arrested.

“The attacker intended to explode the explosives in a ceremony participated by 2000 people held in Farah provincial authority,” Baher added.
