Roadside Blast Leaves Four Policemen Dead in Paktia
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least four policemen have lost their lives in a roadside bomb blast in eastern province of Paktia.
The attack occurred on Wednesday in the Sayed Karam district when the policemen’s patrol car hit a buried explosive device, provincial police chief General Zalmai Oryakhail said on Thursday.
Oryakhail added another policeman sustained injuries in the explosion but he was announced out of danger later on.
No individual or group including Taliban has claimed responsibility behind the attack so far.
Insecurity and instability have ramped up in many provinces of Afghanistan as the militants frequently boost their militancy activities and target security check points.
