ARTF Pledges $50 Million To The Ministry of Higher Education

Logo_Thumbnailmoe.gov.afEnglishKABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan Ministry of Finance and the World Bank have contributed $50 million to an agreement signed to the Ministry of Higher Education.

The assistance will be used in capacity building in universities and higher education development.

The officials in the Ministry of Finance say the fund was made from the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF).

The project started from the year 2015-2020 to be implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education across the country.

According to officials, this project will increase the capacity of the higher education system in Afghanistan, and also provides priority programs of universities, including physics and science, computing, engineering, manufacturing and construction, medicine, agriculture information and communication, public administration and politics, literature is in English.
