Kapisa Blast Kills 10 Civilians
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 10 people were killed in a landmine explosion in north eastern of Kapisa province Sunday morning, local officials said.
The incident took place in Tatarkhil area of Tagab district around 9:30 am local time, said Abdul Karim Fayeq, the provincial police chief.
He added that the victims in the blast included all civilians and they were travelling after their vehicle ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
Four other passengers of the vehicle were seriously wounded who have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The vehicle was almost completely damaged in the explosion.
No group has claimed responsibility behind the attack.
Meanwhile another blast rocked northern Kundoz province as a result two civilians killed and six others injured.
