Explosion in Ghazni Injures Three Civilians

KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least three civilians were sustained injuries in a landmine explosion in capital city of Ghazni province Saturday morning.

The bomb was planted on a roadside in the 4th Police District leaving three civilians injured, said Shafiq Nang, spokesman for the provincial governor.

According to Nang, the goal of the blast was a police vehicle and its owners.

Security forces rushed to the site following the explosion and cordoned off the area. Though no suspect has been arrested regarding the attack.

The injured were immediately shifted to the hospitals.

There is no word of responsibility for the explosion either but Taliban militants have increased their attacks on security forces.
