60 Taliban Militants Killed in Afghan Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 60 Taliban militants have been killed in afghan military operations over the past 24 hours across the country, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced in a statement on Tuesday.
The statement added that at least seven afghan soldiers have also embraced martyrdom in landmine explosion and insurgent fire however, the statement does not release details regarding the exact location of the terrorist assault.
According to statement, 38 Taliban militants have been wounded during the operations.
Afghan National Police discovered and defused six different types of IEDs placed by enemies of Afghanistan for destructive activities in Dai Kundi, Kandahar, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Khost and Paktika provinces, said the statement.
