26 Afghan Police Killed in Helmand Attack
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 26 Afghan military soldiers have been killed in southern Helmand province in Taliban attack on Monday
The attack took place in Nawzad district of Helmand province where Taliban have launched coordinated attack on police check post, said Nafas Khan, police chief of Nawzad District.
He said that 19 martyred were police officers and seven others Army soldiers.
“After the attack the Taliban insurgents have closed roads into Nawzad,” he added.
However, Taliban militants have not commented on the report yet.
