2 Dead, 11 Wounded In Jalalabad Suicide Attack
MEP: At least two people were killed and eleven others wounded in a suicide attack rocked Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday.
The attack took place at around 10:20 AM in the fifth police district of city in Joye Haft area, a statement by the press office of Nangarhar province said.
According to the statement, the target of the blast was Haji Hayat Khan, a tribal elder. However, he and his guards are safe, the statement added.
The press office of Nangarhar province, said the injured in the incident were taken to the central hospital and their health condition is satisfactory.
No group including armed Taliban and Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
