16-Year-Old Boy Arrested Before Carrying Suicide Attack  

12696104_1037180219676431_1482731307_nKABUL: (MEP) A 16-year-old boy who was receiving training course of carrying suicide attacks in religious school of Kunduz province, has been arrested by the police.

Mohammad Qasim Jangal Bagh, Kunduz police chief says the teen is a resident of Faryab province and planned to carry out suicide attack in Dashti Archi district.

The boy was identified as Habib Rahman, moved to Qachi village where he taught religious education and was encouraged to carry terrorist attacks by the school’s authorities, according to the source.

Jangal Bagh added, the teenager had planned to carry out suicide attack on security forces. He was arrested from Kunduz border to dashti Archi district and has confessed to his crime.

The Kunduz police chief meanwhile pointed out to the ongoing military operations in the city said, the security forces managed to kill at least 11 Taliban insurgents including their commander.

According to him, many villages have been cleared of insurgents during the operations.
