15 Afghan Refugees Urge For Probe Into Their Cases

Afghan refugeesKABUL: (MEP) A number of Afghan teachers, police and government officials are being held at northern Russia’s prison along with their families, calling for an investigation into their cases.

According to reports, the refugees, including nine children and women were transferred to prison after they were intending to enter Europe via the Russian border.

In an interview with the Russian Federation’s security agency, they have said they do not intend to return to Afghanistan and called for addressing their problems.

The individuals in the study said that they have sold all of their possessions to reach Europe as well as being fined about 5,000 rubles in the Russian territory. But the Russian police shifted them to a prison in the country’s north.

One of the refugees in his research video which is in the hand of Middle East Press, said “our local people were trying to kill me because I do not pray.”

Another one also says that has been threatened on highways many times.

Meanwhile, security agency of the Russian Federation said that these people entered Russia illegally and based on the constitution, charged and detained.

The agency also reported the case of the people will be investigated that include teachers, police and government officials.

However, the video does not contain the exact date of the detainees, but last year a large number of citizens had left the country to Europe and recently with more difficult access to asylum seekers, citizens are looking for ways other than Turkey to enter Europe.
