Zarif: America has been Defeated against Iran despite Blood and huge Treasure
In response to the US president’s Tweet, Iranian foreign minister said that Washington has failed against Iran over the past four decades and should rethink its policies.
According to Middle East Press International Section, Mohammad Jawad Zarif referring to the 40-year efforts of United States to defeat Iran, wrote in a Tweet, “Washington faces 4 decades of failure to adjust US policy to reality.”
“40 years of failure to accept that Iranians will never return to submission. 40 years of failure to adjust US policy to reality. 40 years of failure to destabilize Iran through blood & treasure.” he tweeted. “After 40 years of wrong choices, time for US to rethink failed US policy.”
The president of the United States had wrote in a tweet “40 years of corruption. 40 years of repression. 40 years of terror. The Iranian regime has only caused 4 years of failure. The Iranian people who suffer from hardship deserve a bright future. ”
In the other hand, the Spanish Foreign Minister acknowledged Iran as a major regional power in a Twitter message on the occasion of the 40th anniversary appreciating achievements of forty years of the Islamic Revolution.
Meanwhile, the US media, like other global media, covered the widespread presence of the Iranian people in the celebration of 40th anniversary of Iranian revolution, and broadcasted numerous reports of the rally.
