Zabul Roadside Bombing Leaves 12 People Killed, Wounded

KABUL (MEP) – A major roadside bomb blast hit Mizan district of Zabul province, killing four people, including two children, and injuring eight others.

The incident took place after a civilians car was hit by a roadside bomb Tuesday, May 19, said MoI spokesman Tariq Arian in a post on Twitter.

According to him, the mine was imbedded by the Taliban, killing four civilians, including two children, and injuring eight others, including four women and four children.

The armed Taliban have not yet commented.
