Yemen’s Health Ministry: Saudi Airstrikes So Far Killed Over 7,000 And Injured 16,000

Saudi Airstrikes In YemenKABUL: (MEP) Saudi coalition airstrikes have so far killed more than 7,000 people and the number of injured reached to 16,500 people in Yemen, the country’s health ministry announced.

Those killed in the air raids include 1,368 children and 1,159 women, and the injured include 2,239 children and 1,740 women, SABA news agency reports.

Riyadh began its military aggression against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes are supposedly meant to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
