Yemeni Forces fired 38 Rockets in Jizan Saudi Military Base

0KABUL: (Middle East Press) Yemeni forces have fired about 38 rockets at a Saudi military base in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern region of Jizan.

There has been no immediate report on the possible casualties or damage caused in the Thursday attack.

The development came as Saudi Arabia pounded several areas across the impoverished Arab country despite international calls for an end to the deadly raids.

Earlier in the day, Saudi war planes targeted a market in the northwestern Yemeni province of Amran, killing at least seven people.

The Saudi fighters also targeted with several strikes the building of Yemeni security forces in Bayt al-Faqih city in the province of Hudaydah, killing at least three civilians and injuring several others.

Meanwhile, the Saudi fighter jets bombarded the region of Sadad in the district of Bagim in the northeastern province of Sa’ada. Saudi forces also fired shells at an area in the town of Munabbih in Sa’ada.

According to the UN, some 3,000 Yemenis have been killed, half of them civilians, and 14,000 others injured as a result of the ongoing conflict in the country in past three months.
