Yemen re-launches drone strikes on Saudi airfields

The Yemen army and Ansarullah once again targeted Saudi Arabia’s two “Abha” and “Jazan” airfields.

According to International News of Middle East Press, al-Masirah Network reports the drone attacks are carried out today (Wednesday, June 26).

The strikes were carried out on Saudi Arabia`s military targets and equipment centers, Yemen Army spokesperson Yahya Sarea said.

The attack on the “Abha” and “Jazan” airfields came in response to the Arab Coalition’s crimes against the Yemeni nation and the ongoing blockade of the country, Sarea added.

Sarea also declared that airfields will remain insecure for Saudi Arabia until they stop targeting Yemen territory.

He called on civilians and companies in southern Saudi Arabia to move away from airfields and military bases.

Last Sunday, both of mentioned airfields were targeted with unmanned drones of the Yemen Army.
