Woman Fatally Beheaded in Logar Province
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A woman has been beheaded by her daughter-in-law in Baraki-Barak district of Logar province Sunday evening, officials said.
The incident took place after the woman tried to push her mother-in-law inside the hot oven and as soon as she defended herself she then was beheaded fatally.
According to Abdul Hakim Ishaqzai, provincial police chief of Logar province, the victim’s son (criminal’s husband) was also involved during the execution.
Ishaqzai said that an investigation has been launched into the incident and more details will be available soon.
However, the main motive behind the killing is not clear yet but can be the result of domestic issues.
