Following the increase of insecurities and insurgents’ attacks in some parts of Afghanistan, once again the lower house requested serious measures for removal of problems.
In the wake of law makers’ concern on current insecurities in the house plenary meeting, addressing the media, the house speaker Abdul Raoof Ibrahimi said, unemployment, insecurities, poverty and corruption are main challenges in Afghanistan that suffer our people strongly. Their removal needs serious measures. The law makers should bear great responsibility before people.
Insurgents have intensified their attacks and recently have occupied Qala-e-Zal district in Kunduz and Zebak district in Badakhshan. But ANDSF managed to recapture Zebak. Beside that, Heland, Sar-e-Pul, Baghlan, Takhar and other areas have also been witnessing serious clashes of security forces and terrorists.
Some law makers in the lower house expressed concern that in some parts, ANSF lack essential equipments and reinforcement, weapons and immunities are not supplied on time to them.
Law maker Obaidullah Barakzay said that the world community is better to equip ANSF instead of sending additional combat troops. Because that is not a solution and extends the war.
MoI authorities said that sufficient equipments have been dispatched to other provinces and efforts are underway to hartel Taliban subversive escalations in north and east. MoI spokesman Najib Danish assured that ANSF are determined to sweep insurgents from these areas. He added, we promise to our people to fight until the last drop of our blood against terrorists. Law maker Saleh Mohammad Saleh a member of the house domestic security commission said, instead of criticism of ANSF, we should support them while they need qualified leadership beside additional equipment. A number of people, being concerned on insecure situation said that instead to improve public moral, the government intimidate people of insecurity and instability.
Mohammad Amir and Pashtoon two compatriots from capital Kabul said, ANSF are our heroes. People and government should support them and focus attention on their further equipping. They are sincerely fighting terrorists.
