US Secretary of Defence and NATO Secretary General to Visit Kabul
KABUL (MEP) – The U.S Secretary of Defence and NATO Secretary General are visiting Afghanistan on Saturday as the US and Taliban are due to sign a peace deal in Qatar.
U.S. Defence Secretary Mark Esper and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will visit the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, AFghan Presidential Palace (ARG) stated.
Presidential deputy spokesman Dawa Khan Minapal has said that the two US and NATO officials will also issue a joint declaration aimed at renewing the international community’s commitment to support Afghanistan.
Sper and Stoltenberg are also scheduled to meet with government and political officials.
