US Ambassador To Syria’s Confession Of Saudi Paternal Role For Daesh

KABUL: (Middle East Press) America’s former ambassador to Damascus in an article in Foreign Policy magazine, while admitting the failure of US policy in Damascus also unveiled Riyadh’s main role in the formation of Daesh.

Robert Ford believed the actions of Bandar bin Sultan, the former head of Saudi intelligence agency lead to form Daesh.

He has described the American agreement with Saudi suggestion on formation of Daesh and supporting Saudi’s role in guiding extremist groups with the help of remainders of the Baath Party as a mistake in history and urged the White House to reconsider its policy toward Damascus.

According to Robert Ford, Saudi Arabia has been the main axis of production and dissemination of extremism in the Middle East in the past three decades and consequences of this wrong policy will have bad effects on Europe soon.

It is worth saying that Saudi Arabia in continuing its wrong policy has armed Al Qaeda to fight Ansarullah.
