US, Allies Aim to Dominate Region by Force: Nasrallah

The-Secretary-General-of-the-Lebanese-Hezbollah-Hassan-NasrallahKABUL: (Middle East Press) Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah says that all United States administrations along with some Western countries always pursue a specific goal in the region that is economic, political, and military domination.

Seyyed Nasrallah made the remarks at the Sayyed al-Shohada complex in Dahieh on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on the ninth day of the lunar month of Muharram known as Tasua, the eve of the martyrdom anniversary of the grandson of Prophet Muhammad SAW, Imam Hussein AS.

He further pointed out that the US aims to subject all regional nations under its hegemony by forcing them to accept the existence of the Israel entity and by gaining control over the oil and gas in the region while waging war on those who refuse to comply.”

Sayyed Nasrallah noted that the American domination project did not allow countries like Egypt, Pakistan, or others to become powerful. He added that “the US is not ruled by Human Rights Organization, but by owners of large oil and arms companies…” an indication that Washington aims to control the region and open a market for its products.

Sayyed Nasrallah underscored that “the Israeli regime is the implementation tool in the Western domination project on our region, and this is why they are protecting it.” He pointed out that “Israel is a real American tool, adding that Palestinians, as well other nations of the region have suffered from Israeli occupation and atrocities.”

The Hezbollah leader noted the US always makes false claims about democracy, elections, and human rights in order to mislead the masses adding that the worst dictatorships in the region and the most corrupt regimes which violated human rights and denounced the constitution and elections are supported by the US.

He pointed out that “whenever America wanted to attack, it made up lies and promoted them.” Sayyid Nasrallah gave an example of Iran which “only wanted to be a free and independent state that owned its resources and preserved the dignity of its people… however, this was prohibited by the Americans, who started claiming that Iran was building a nuclear weapon, and forced the UN to put pressure on the Islamic Republic and impose sanctions on it.”

Syria Punished for Rejecting US Hegemony

On the Syrian crisis, Sayyed Nasrallah stated that the war against that country is led by the US using regional countries that support terrorism. He also reiterated that the Syrian war was not for democracy as claimed, but to punish a country that rebelled against the US.

“After the so called “Arab Spring” the US waged a new war, a war on everyone who refused to submit to its hegemony domination,” he said.

On Iraq, Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that “the US and its allies offered money and weapons to ISIS in Iraq after the US was kicked out of the country to tell the Iraqi people that no one will protect you from ISIS except America.”

As for Yemen, the Hezbollah leader indicated that the Saudis have tried to transform the shape of the war into a sectarian one so that they would ignite the sectarian instincts of the Sunnis.

 “We shall never be humiliated”

In conclusion, his eminence reassured that the wars in the region were not for the sake of reforms, democracy, human rights, or improving social levels, they were rather waged against everyone who refused to submit to the American project and toppled the “New Middle East” project in 2006.

In parallel, he noted that the same thing happened with Imam Hussein AS in Karbala, as he was asked to submit to the corrupt regime of Yazid or else he would be killed, robbed, and the women accompanying him would be imprisoned… and this was what happened.

“We reiterate that we will follow the path of Imam Hussein and stand in the face of all these threats and say “We shall never be humiliated,” Sayyed Nasrallah added.

“In this battle, we shall not pull back. This is a battle which we believe in and will engage in and emerge victorious. We shall never abandon such a battle, and whoever considers doing so would be leaving Imam Hussein in the middle of the night of the tenth of Muharram,” he stressed.
