KABUL: (Middle East Press) About 30 people have been killed following an airstrikes by US-led coalition targeting a Syrian oil refinery held by the ISIL Takfiri terrorists.
According to the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the air attacks that were carried out late Sunday night hit the refinery near the Turkish-Syrian border outside the town of Tel Abyad.
The UK-based group added that the dead included refinery workers and ISIL terrorists.
Syrian activists also posted a video that purportedly shows the strikes, showing a huge fireball.
The US-led coalition’s airstrikes have also hit Syrian infrastructure. The coalition has also attacked the provinces where the ISIL militants are not active.
