UPDATED: Four Suicide Bombers Killed As Coordinated Attacks On Ghazni Court Ended

MEP: At least four suicide bombers were killed after launching coordinated attacks on court of appellate in Ghazni province on Wednesday.

A policeman was also killed and four civilians wounded in the attacks.

Khaleqdad Akbari, head of Ghazni provincial council told the Middle East News Agency the attacks took place at 10:00 am with an explosion in security cordon of Ghazni city.

After the explosion, three attackers entered the court building and clashed with security forces Akbari said adding that the fighting lasted for nearly two hours.

According to Akbari, police chief of Ghazni was also presented during the clashes, as a result of it, a policemen who was responsible for guarding the gate of the court was killed and four civilians who were referring the court have been wounded.

The security forces have successfully managed to kill all of the attackers and cordoned off their blasts.

The Chairman of Ghazni appellate court also wounded in the clashes and has been transferred to the central hospital, Akbari noted.

Meanwhile, Aminullah Amarkhail, police chief of Ghazni province also confirmed the report.

A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement on his Twitter account claimed responsibility for the attacks.

He said that a number of Afghan security forces, have been killed in the attack.
