KABUL: (Middle East Press) the United Arabic Emirates government has canceled about 600 Afghan businessmen’s work permits and has determined two weeks of deadline for them to leave the country.

The development comes after President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani signed an agreement of the two sides to deal with problems of Afghan businessmen due to his trip in the UAE.

According to the agreement, the united Arabic Emirates would provide good facilities to the Afghan traders.

Around eleven thousands of Afghan businessmen in the UAE Arabic, have currently invested about nineteen billion dollars, According to statistics.

However, the government of the United Arabic Emirates still banned 600 Afghan businessmen’s work permits and firmed two weeks of deadline to leave the country.

All of the 600 traders are said to be ‘Hazaras’ and ‘Shiite’ people of Afghanistan and the United Arabic Emirates canceled their work licenses of being closed with Islamic Republic of Iran.

Meanwhile, Spokesman for the department of Ministry of Foreign, Shakib Mostaghni says a delegation will be sent to the United Arabic Emirates to address this problem.

Mohammad Mohaqeq, Deputy chief executive of the government condemning the issue two days ago at a meeting of the Council of Ministers said that the problem must be resolved soon.

On the other hand, Abdullah Abdullah, chief executive has also considered it a massive problem for the Afghan businessmen and said he will speak with president Ghani in this case.
