U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Supports Afghan People’s Choices

KABUL (MEP) – The US Chargé d’Affaires to Afghanistan, Ross Wilson says he was excited to start work at US Embassy in Kabul, adding; “I strongly support all Afghans as they choose the future of this proud country.”

Ross Wilson, U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires has replaced Ambassador John Bass and has officially started his work.

“I am excited to start work at US Embassy in Kabul during this crucial time in the history of Afghanistan,” said Wilson in his first remarks after visiting Kabul.

Wilson went to say; “Be it Afghan Elections, the quest for peace, or other priorities, my country and I strongly support all Afghans as they choose the future of this proud country,”

Ross Wilson has previously served as US ambassador to Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.
