Two US Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

 KABUL (MEP) — Two United States military personnel have been “killed in action” in Afghan war, NATO announced.

The NATO Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan said the two service members were killed yesterday, Middle East Press (MEP) reports.

The source did not provide details on the exact place and identities of the pair, but announced investigations have been started.

According to US Department of Defense policy, the details and identities of the soldiers killed in the war will be announced the day after the event.

The deaths bring to at least 14 the number of members of the US military to be killed in action in Afghanistan this year

A few days ago, two US service members were killed in an insider attack by an Afghan soldier in the Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar province.

The two US soldiers are killed as US envoy-Taliban talks reach a final stage and speculation suggests a bilateral agreement.
