Two Suspects Detained along with Over 300 KG heroin in Nangarhar

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Some drug traffickers were planning to deliver over 300 kilograms heroin from Ghanikhil District of Nangarhar to Kabul when they were detained by security forces including two suspects, local officials said.

The counter narcotics department officials in the police headquarters of Nangarhar province say that the drug traffickers had placed the seized 374 kilograms of heroin in a “Hino” vehicle.

The vehicle was on its way from to Kabul when police stopped it on Torkham-Kabul highway close to Jalalabad city on Wednesday.

The suspects are identified as Salim S/O Noor Mast and Mujahid S/O Anat Khan and are now under further investigation at the police headquarters.
