Two Dead, Eight Wounded in Herat Traffic Accident

KABUL: (Middle East Press) A traffic accident in western Herat province left at least two people dead and eight others injured, officials said Wednesday.
The officials added that incident took place on Monday evening on Herat Islam Qala highway after the ‘Flying Coach’ vehicle was heading from Herat city to Zinda Jan District had veered off the road and turned turtle because of high speed.
Mohammad Rafiq Shirzai, spokesman for the Herat Regional Hospital said they have received two dead bodies and eight injured.
Shirzai added that the victims include children and women.
According to Shirzai, the injured health conditions are critical.
Unprofessional and reckless driving usually turn into traffic accidents in the country which leaves hundreds of people killed and wounded every year.
