Three Suicide Attackers Arrested, Who Wanted To Attack Gen. Dostum
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Special security officials of the First Vice-President, General Abdul Rashid Dostum, said that three suicide bombers were arrested before planning to attack on General Dostum.
The officials added that the militant groups were looking to launch a coordinated attack on Gen. Dostum’s residence with the help of four suicide bombers.
One of the four suicide bombers has reportedly managed to flee after the security forces stormed the area where they were hiding.
According to the initial research that has been done by the suspects, they have been sent by Pakistan to eliminate Lieutenant General Abdul Rashid Dostum.
The three suicide bombers have reportedly arrested Monday evening from the vicinity of Gen. Dostum’s residence in Qaysar district.
The exact location of First Vice-President residence is still unknown but it is said that Dostum is currently busy launching military attacks against the militants in the northern parts of the country in Faryab province.
