Three Smugglers And Killers Arrested In Kunduz
KABUL: (MEP) Three smugglers and criminals who were involved in the murdering, have been arrested by police in Kunduz province, an official said Thursday.
Mehfozullah Akbari, head of the press office of the police chief of Kunduz told Middle East Press the men were arrested in two separate incidents.
According to him, one of the men was charged with drug trafficking and carrying illicit arms from Kunduz city and the two others were arrested on charges of killing and wounding civilians.
Akbari said, the people had killed a resident of Khan Abad district long ago.
“10 kg of hashish, two pistols, a pair of car number plates, a passport and a fake driver’s license have been obtained from their possession” Akbari added.
Head of the press office of the Kunduz police chief said the investigation started and after the completion, the case will be brought to the courts.
