“Three important points have been decided on Afghanistan on the first day of Brussels summit” Stoltenberg said.
The presence of 12 thousand NATO troops in Kabul and other parts of Afghanistan in 2016, working together with the international community to continue funding the defense and security forces in Afghanistan after 2017 and sustained participation are of the three basic points that were agreed.
Salahuddin Rabbani, the foreign minister on his part appreciated the foreign ministers of NATO and its partners for the commitment of Afghanistan and said “the first day of Brussels summit was very effective”.
Rabbani added, with the help of NATO and the international community, Afghanistan can be prosperous, democratic and a stable country.
