Three Killed, Six Wounded in Urozgan Explosion

blast in UrozganKABUL: (Middle East Press) At least three people have been killed and six others were injured in a powerful bomb blast that rocked Khas Urozgan district of Urozgan province on Friday afternoon, officials said.

The incident took place when the explosive materials had been delivered closed to the house of Abdul Samad, commander of the local police in this district, by Taliban militants.

Two sons of Abdul Samad were killed in the explosion, according to reports.

However, Toryalai, police chief of Khas Urozgan district confirmed the blast and said that three people have lost their lives and six others wounded.

While another security official said on condition of anonymity that eight people were killed in the blast.

Taliban group have not commented regarding the attack so far.
