Three Alcohol Sellers Arrested In Kundoz Border

12666335_1024011130993340_960778778_nKABUL: (MEP) Kunduz police arrested three men on charges of selling alcohol and drugs along with some liquor.

Mahfozullah Akbari, a spokesman for Kunduz police chief told Middle East Press News Agency the men were arrested Monday morning in Shahrake (town) Sherkhan Bandar.

According to him, these men were also selling intoxicants tablets despite sale of alcohol and drugs. Investigations have started and the men are being under examination.

“60 liters of alcohol, 280 grams of hashish and 90 grain of intoxicants tablets also known as K tablet were obtained from their possession.” Akbari added.

The men will be handed over to judicial authorities after preliminary investigations, the source further added.

This comes as a few days before 13 kilograms of heroin with a suspect had been arrested by police in Kunduz province.
