This comes as earlier about 50,000 vacancies had been announced in government offices.
Now, parliament summoned Dr Nasrin Oriakhel, Minister of Labour, Social Affiars, Martyrs and Disabled and Ahmad Masood Tokhi, the Director General of the Civil Service Commission to respond to this dilemma.
Tokhi, told lawmakers that out of 397,722 civil service positions, 25,584 posts are vacant.
He said the vacant posts in provincial municipalities have not been included in their statistics.
Representatives of parliament have expressed their concerned over the large number of unemployed youth in the country and the vacancies.
The report also marks as the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs had promised to attract a large number of young people in public offices.
