The Remaining Cabinet Candidates to be Introduced Soon: Ashraf Ghani

KABUL: (Middle East Press) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani addressed the Lower House of the Parliament (Wolesi Jirga) for approving director general of the Afghan Intelligence National Directorate of Security and eight cabinet ministers.

KABUL: (Middle East Press) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani addressed the Lower House of the Parliament (Wolesi Jirga) for approving director general of the Afghan Intelligence National Directorate of Security and eight cabinet ministers.

Ashraf Ghani expressed success for the ministers who obtained vote of confidence from the Lower House of the parliament.

He said the nominees for the remaining ministries would be introduce to the Lower House for confidence voting soon.

Eklil Hakimi, Ferozuddin Feroz, Noor-ul-Haq Ulomi, Salahuddin Rabbani, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, Daud Shah Saba, Nasir Durrani and Faiz Mohammad Osmani were among the ministerial nominees who received vote of confidence.

Ten ministers-designate who were rejected by The Lower House of the parliament are included Sher Mohammad Karimi for the Ministry of Defense, Khatera Afghan for the Ministry of Higher Education, Sardar Mohammad Rahman Oghlo for the Ministry of Economy, and Mohammad Gul Zalmai Younusi for Ministry of Education.

Abbas Basir nominee for Ministry of Public Works was rejected along with Barna Karimi nominee for the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology, Abdul Rahman Salahi nominee for Ministry of Water and Energy, Qamaruddin Shinwari nominee for Ministry of Borders & Tribal Affairs, Faizullah Zaki nominee for Ministry of Transport & Civil Aviation and Sardar Mohammad Rahimi nominee for Ministry of Commerce & Industries.
