The Houthis Supporters, Protested In Yemen

MEP: On Saturday, the supporters of Houthis, protested against the proposal of Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmad, the UN envoy, in Sanaa.

According to AFP from Sanaa, hundreds of people gathered in front of the hotel where Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed was stationed and chanted, “Get out.”

The protesters who were holding photos of the victims of war and malnutrition, shouted “We will not surrender and we will not compromise.”

On Thursday, the UN mediator in Yemen, entered Sanaa for the second time in less than a week, for trying to end the war that has been lasted for 19 month until now and has caused a serious humanitarian crisis in Yemen.

In his statement, he announced that to find a political solution for the crisis in Yemen, he needs to consult the members of Houthis and their allies (The supporters of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh).

Houthis forces and their allies are fighting against the mercenaries of Mansour Hadi, the resigned president.
