The 12 year old boy was trained for three months by Pakistanis to carry out suicide bombings.

Abdul Qayoum Baqizoy, Provincial Police Chief says that the boy was abducted while working as a shepherd in the provincial capital.

“He was trained by the Pakistanis to carry out insurgency attacks – mainly suicide bombings but he escaped from them and surrendered to police,” he said.

However, he did not provide more details about the incident.

This comes just few days after another 12-year-old boy handed himself in to police in northern Faryab province after escaping from a Taliban camp where he was receiving insurgency training such as suicide bombings.
