Taliban Rejects Pakistan’s Offer In Participating Peace Process

1 (1)KABUL: (MEP) Taliban leader in talks with Pakistani officials rejected the country’s offer to participate the negotiation process.

Pakistan’s Express Tribune newspaper wrote that the country’s officials held a secret meeting with Taliban leaders in an unknown location to persuade them in participating peace process but Taliban insurgents have rejected their suggestion.

The report comes as Taliban insurgents were supposed to attend the fourth peace talks which was expected to be held in the first week of March with the representatives of Afghanistan, United States, China and Pakistan.

The Pakistani government was obligated in any possible way to bring Taliban insurgents in peace talks.
