Taliban Leader Including 150 Rebels Join Peace Process in Badghis

AFGHANISTAN-UNREST-TALIBANKABUL: (Middle East Press) Up to 150 anti-government rebels including their commander Mullah Baz Mohammad have reportedly joint peace process in Abkamari district of northwestern Badghis province, officials said on Sunday.

The 150 insurgents have surrendered their weapons and arms to the government and promised to cooperate and assist with the government officials.

The group was functioning in Nahrab and Chasangai areas of Abkamai district of badghis province, and were carrying out insurgency activities.
