Taliban Insurgents Capture Helmand’s Khanshin District

Helmand security officials say Taliban insurgents attacked the district from several endurance last night, as a result of 9:00 this morning, security forces were forced to leave the district center.

Another security official on condition of anonymity confirms the withdrawal of security forces from the district center to the central of the region “Narget” and says that the capture operation will start again in the district soon.

According to them, in this conflict from both sides were killed and wounded, but exact figures are not yet in this case.

According to reports, hundreds of insurgents launched attack on district under the name of “red piece” as result, they have managed to take full control of the district.

Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Taliban by sending a message to the media claimed that Afghan civilians have been forced to withdraw in Kandak dashti.
