Taliban important bases destroyed in Helmand
In a targeted operation, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) Officers destroyed four armed Taliban stations in Garmsir district of Helmand province.
According to Middle East Press quoting NDS newsletter, the bases were destroyed last night in Garmsir District
The special forces of NDS launched new operations on location of Mullah Naeem, known as “Belthi”, a Taliban commander in Garmsir district.
In the operation, 600 kilograms of explosives, a weapon of 303, 1500 kilograms of narcotics, 6 anti-vehicle mines, 4 transmissions, 10 vehicles, thousands of small arms and mild arms and some military equipment has been seized by the security forces.
The source added that 4 enemy bases were completely destroyed in these operations.
Armed Taliban have not yet commented on this.
