Farid Bakhtoor, head of Farah provincial council told Middle East News Agency Qazi Shamsuddin and the former director of national security have been killed and hanged in two separate incidents.
Bakhtoor said Shamsuddin had been kidnapped about three days before by armed Taliban in Farah – Farah-rod route and was hung in Khaksafid district on Friday.
In another incident, the armed Taliban killed and hanged former director of the National Security of Poshtkoh district along with his bodyguard, according to Bakhtoor.
No more details were given on how the former director of the National Security and his bodyguard were taken into Taliban’s hand.
Khaksafid district is one of the insure districts of Farah province in which government has less control over it and the Taliban are operating freely.
