Taliban Commander Along With 11 Fellows Killed In Ghazni
KABUL: (MEP) Afghan security forces have managed to kill a local Taliban commander along with his eleven colleagues in a special operation in Ghazni province.
A statement by Interior Ministry said Wednesday the operation was jointly launched by Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army in Se-Paa village of Andar district.
According to the statement in the operation, 12 Taliban, including Mullah Yousef, one of the key Taliban commanders were killed.
Seven anti-government insurgents also wounded in the operation and the security forces seized some weapons, the statement added.
Based on reports, the Taliban-affiliated terrorist groups were involved in most of the terrorist attacks in Andar district of Ghazni province.
