Syrian Soldiers Killed over 60 militants Across the country

KABUL: (Middle East Press) More than 60 insurgents have been killed by Syrian military forces during the recent operations across the Middle Eastern country, a report says.

At least 66 terrorists were killed in clashes with the Syrian army in various areasو including the suburbs of the capital, Damascus, and the southern province of Dara’a, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported on Tuesday.

Some 15 terrorists were killed in an army airstrike in the town of Douma in the eastern countryside of Damascus.

A separate army operation took the lives of over 35 militants in the town of Sheikh Miskin in Dara’a. No mention has been made to the Syrian army fatalities in SANA’s report.

Syrian forces have recently boost up their attacks against the insurgents of the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front in Dara’a after the group captured a military base near Sheikh Miskin.

In another operation in the northwestern province of Idlib, almost 16 militants were killed by Syrian soldiers.
