Suicide Child Surrendered Himself To Nangarhar Police
KABUL: (MEP) A 12-year-old child who had planned to carry out suicide attack, has surrendered himself to police officials in Lal Pur district of Nangarhar province.
Hazrat Hussein Mashriqwal, a spokesman for Nangahar police chief told Middle East Press that the child was trained in a Pakistani religious school.
According to him, the children were told that all security forces are infidels in Afghanistan and carrying out suicide attacks and killing them is permissible way to heaven.
Mashriqwal noted that the child has said in his confession, “when I entered the mosque, I saw the security forces and police pray, then I realized that I have been tricked by wrong religious training.”
The child had planned to blow a mosque up that before the operation, has surrendered himself to local police of Lal Pur district, the source added.
This comes as the use of children in suicide attacks and improvised explosive was unprecedented in the country and previously in the number of attacks, the terrorists have been misused children.
