Suicide Attacks Foiled In Helmand Province
KABUL: (MEP) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) have discovered three motorbikes full of explosives and thwarted deadly suicide attacks in Helmand province.
The security forces also detained four terrorists involved in the crime, a statement by NDS said Monday.
The statement adds, the three motorcycles were seized from Nad Ali district of Lashkargah city in a special operation.
NDS says that the motorcycles were prepared to carry out suicide attacks that were foiled before reaching the goal.
Meanwhile, National Security officers in clashes with insurgents killed at least four terrorists in Nad Ali district of Shana Kali village and have obtained two Kalashnikovs, a motorbike and some explosives.
In another separate incident, NDS officials killed a suspect who was involved in the murder case of two brothers who were shot dead with a pistol.
