KABUL (MEP) – Security Forces arrested an explosive designer from PD1 area of Jalalabad city, Nangarhar.
The spokeswoman for Nangarhar Governor Ataullah Khogiani told the Middle East Press that Shirin, known as Soheil, a local Taliban commander and suicide bomb designer, was arrested last night.
According to Khogiani, Security Forces arrested him when he was designing a car bomb attack on Surkhrod district office.
Khogyani added that the explosive vehicle that was designed by Shahin was destroyed in an airstrike two days ago.
The spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar says the detainee has confessed to his crime.
The armed Taliban have not commented on this yet.
