Shams al-Arefin Shrine Exploded in Ghazni

Unidentified gunmen exploded and demolished a shrine known as Shams al-Arefin in the north-east of Ghazni City.

According to Middle East Press, the unidentified gunmen exploded a shrine on the outskirts of Ghazni City last night.

The press office of Ghazni province has announced that this shrine is attributed to Shams al-Arefin and has been destroyed in this bombing.

The source said that Sheikh Abdul Wahid, whose nickname is Shams al-Arefin, is one of the great scholars of Islamic mysticism and Sufism, who died in 601 AH and his mausoleum is grateful to the people in the outskirts of Ghazni.

Shams al-Arifin shrine was known for solving jinn eclipse and dozens of people from different provinces were visiting the shrine daily.

So far, no group or individuals has claimed responsibility for the event.
