Several Dead, Injured as Militants Attacked Kunar Province
KABUL: (Middle East Press) The insurgents group have attacked eastern Kunar province in which three civilians have been killed and three others injured, the Ministry of Interior said following a statement.
The statement added that the attack took place after the militants stopped a civilian vehicle between Asad Abad, provincial capital, and Narang District and opened fire on them.
According to the statement, the civilians were traveling from the provincial capital to Narang District when they came under insurgents fires in Daag area of Narang District.
A separate execution also took place in Kunar’s Marawarah District in which a man has been killed by militants they alleged the convict of being in contact with government.
However, the statement adds that Shahaab who was killed by insurgents did not have contacts with government.
The extremists’ group spokesman has not made any comment on the reports so far.
