Senior Afghan Commander Killed In Badghis Helicopter Crash
MEP: Local officials in western Badghis province say that a helicopter carrying Muhiddin Ghori, commander of the 207th Zafar Corps crashed in the province killing him along with the pilot and his body guards.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening in the area of Mori Chaq of Bala Murghab district, Najibullah Najibi, spokesman for the 207th Zafar Corps confirmed the report.
The national security chief and head of the provincial council of Badghis were also injured in the crash, according to the source.
The helicopter of Mr Ghori has collapsed due to technical complications.
